Remote Support

Download CrossLoop - Remote Support Program

RVB Systems Group has recently implemented CrossLoop, a remote PC support program that is started and stopped by you.  You do not need to configure your computer, your router, or your firewall - you merely need to have an internet connection.  To get started, follow the easy instructions below.  After you download, install and run the REMOTE SUPPORT PROGRAM, provide RVB Systems Group with the ACCESS CODE and we will be able to "see" your PC's desktop and run any program on your PC in order to provide first-hand support.  Click here to learn more about CrossLoop by visiting there website.

Operating System Requirements: Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, 2003, XP, Vista, Windows 7.  Internet connection required.

Directions:    Let's say Brenda needs help from Bob at RVB Systems Group and would like for Bob to connect to her computer.

1. Brenda downloads and installs CrossLoop by clicking on the BLUE BUTTON above.  Any VIRUS PROTECTION SOFTWARE running on Brenda's computer must be temporarily disabled to properly install CrossLoop.

2. After successfully installing CrossLoop, Brenda runs CrossLoop from either the shortcut icon on Desktop (see below) or the Start Menu.

3. The window shown below will appear.  Brenda should CLOSE THIS WINDOW.

 

4. Since Brenda is the one getting help, she will click the Share tab and click Connect. A 12 digit access code will appear.  Brenda will tell Bob the code over the telephone.

 

5. After Brenda clicks CONNECT, the following screen will appear on her computer.

 

6. A warning window will appear on Brenda's computer screen.  She should click YES to allow Bob access to her computer. 

 

7. Bob is now connected to Brenda's computer and able to view and control her computer.


 8. When Bob has finished helping Brenda, she clicks DISCONNECT to end the support session.
